Watch it folded — Toilet-paper folds

You'll learn to

  • Fold a clean, symmetric triangle point centred to the roll

You'll need

  • Toilet roll, on the holder — 1

Step-by-step checkpoints

Watch the masterclass above for the live motion — use these diagrams to check each stage as you fold.

Focus here

1.Start from the loose leading sheet — never tear it.

CarefulWash hands first. Many luxury brands ban TP folding on hygiene grounds — follow your property's policy.

2.Fold the two bottom corners back and under to meet at the centre.

Folding under keeps the front face clean and the point sharp.

3.Crease both edges with a fingernail so the point holds.

StandardA sharp, symmetric point, dead-centre to the roll.

What 'done right' looks like

  • Point is sharp and symmetric
  • Centred to the roll, edges aligned

Common mistakes → the fix

  • Point is off-centre
Match both corner folds to the same depth before creasing.

Pro tips

  • Repeat on the spare/bidet roll so the whole bathroom reads 'serviced'.

Finishing & placement

Leading sheet, point hanging straight down.
