Watch it folded — Bed & turndown art

You'll learn to

  • Turn the bed down to standard, then lay a symmetric petal heart

You'll need

  • Fresh or silk rose petals (clean) — 1 handful
  • Welcome card / chocolate — 1

Focus here

1.Turn the duvet/sheet back to the brand standard — a 45° triangle or a straight turn.

A clean turndown frames the art; a messy one undoes it.

2.Lay petals into a heart on the flat sheet, working both lobes symmetrically by eye.

StandardSymmetric outline, no gaps, petals fresh and unbruised.

3.Centre a card or chocolate; keep fresh petals off the sleeping pillow.

CarefulFresh petals can stain linen and trigger allergies — keep minimal and off the pillow.

What 'done right' looks like

  • Heart is symmetric with no gaps
  • Petals fresh; nothing staining the linen

Common mistakes → the fix

  • Lobes uneven
Build both lobes outward from the centre top at the same pace.

Pro tips

  • Silk petals on the sleeping surface avoid stains and allergens.
