Focus here

1.Lay the towel flat in portrait, smooth it out.

2.Fold the two top corners down to the centre so the top makes an arrow point.

3.Roll each side inward toward the centre into two even rolls.

The tops of the two rolls become the two lobes of the heart.

4.Fold the bottom point up between the rolls and pinch it to a sharp tip.

StandardA clean V-cleft between the lobes and a sharp bottom point.

5.Round the two lobes and place it centred. Add a rose in the cleft for VIP rooms.

What 'done right' looks like

  • Two symmetrical lobes with a clean V-cleft
  • Sharp bottom point, no loose flap

Common mistakes → the fix

  • Lobes are uneven
Roll both sides to the same tightness and meet exactly on centre.

Pro tips

  • Tuck a single rose or chocolate into the cleft for an instant romantic accent.
